The development of blanket industry in China is like a prairie fire. It has developed rapidly in the past 15 years and has become the production base of blanket in the world, with the output ranking first in the world. In the early 1980s, more than 20 automatic production lines were introduced from Japan, and the updating of Chinese blanket products began. Raschel blanket was gradually replaced by the former blanket. By the early 1990s, wool blankets were processed according to the process of producing wool fabrics, which greatly improved the feel, gloss and brightness of acrylic blankets. Moreover, the input of the production line was much lower than that of Raschel blanket production line, which enabled more private enterprises to invest in blanket products. The industrial base has been formed in the coastal areas of Guangdong and Zhejiang, and gained better profits and gains. At the end of 1997, the production of acrylic blankets began, but the results were not acceptable. Within three years, dozens of blanket factories were built in Lixian, Gaoyang and Anxin counties in Baoding area, and they developed rapidly, forming large-scale production bases, and the output leaped to the forefront of the country, occupying most of the domestic market share. Coastal manufacturers have turned to foreign countries for export.
However, in recent years, blanket enterprises have also shifted from domestic sales to foreign markets, making China a dominant blanket in the world. The raw material has gradually changed from acrylic to polyester, and the process has been improved rapidly. The blanket industry in Japan, South Korea, Hungary and other countries is gradually declining. Acrylic blanket manufacturer has gradually changed from manual table printing to automatic flat screen printing. The quality and quantity of products have been improved rapidly, with an annual production capacity of about 20,000 tons, and the export volume to the Middle East countries is the largest. In Jiangsu, blankets are mainly exported to Japan, and Nantong Huayin composite carpet is very popular in the Japanese market. In Heilongjiang, the blanket has the advantage of land, mostly in single layer blankets, and exported to Russia in large quantities.
